Welcome to our school

It gives me great pleasure to tell you about the work we do in Croftcroighn School.

Croftcroighn Primary School is purpose built to meet the needs of children with complex additional support needs, including cognitive, sensory, communication and physical impairments from P1 to P7. The school also has a Nursery which admits children from the age of 2 years.

Croftcroighn is non-denominational and caters for children of both sexes.  There are currently 61 pupils attending the school which is the working capacity of the school. However, this number may vary dependent upon the number of pupils at each stage and the way in which the classes are organised.

We are very fortunate to share our new, purpose built multiplex campus with Avenue End Primary School and Kincardine Nursery which provides us with a very rich environment for the promotion of social and educational inclusion.
At Croftcroighn School, we have a very long and proud tradition of providing excellence in education. We continually look for opportunities to develop and improve our service and welcome new innovations and challenges to further enrich our children`s learning experiences.
We have high but realistic expectations of our pupils and work to ensure that every pupil achieves his or her full potential in a safe, caring and most importantly, happy school environment.
I hope you enjoy reading through our school web site. I know it cannot tell the whole story of Croftcroighn - you really need to visit us to find out more.
I, together with the school staff, will be delighted to show you round and tell you more about the work we do in our school.
Please contact us at any time to arrange a visit. You will be made very welcome.
Best wishes,
Emily Dixon (H.T.)
